Go Green (#50)

To “Go Green” is a popular phrase these days. It’s the concept of eliminating excess in order to minimize one’s impact on earth. Spiritually we also need to eliminate excess but for the opposite affect.

Working Concepts
In the Natural - Eliminate things that are unnecessary in order to minimize impact on the temporal.
In the Spiritual - Eliminate things that are unnecessary in order to maximize impact on the eternal.

What are the things that are hindering our worship? What is keeping us from maximizing our praise? What is keeping us from being passionate, involved, true, committed and fervent worshipers?

Hebrews 12:1 1Therefore, since we are surrounded by such a huge crowd of witnesses to the life of faith, let us strip off every weight that slows us down, especially the sin that so easily trips us up. And let us run with endurance the race God has set before us.

Absolutely love this verse. I believe what hinders our souls from our God,is having a clouded mind, and when our mind is clouded, our heart gets confuse, and become hard towards God and everything else on earth. When we don't have the full understanding, and the acceptance of The Father,The Son,and The Holy Spirit,I don't think we'll ever reach the fullness of God and his love for us,and our worship only go as far as the roof. We must have a clean heart, make peace with any situations you encounter through out the week, and bring to God on Sunday and nail it to the cross and bare it no more, don't carry the same load to the next, and the next week. I love my God so much, and I've trained hard to let him be the center of my soul.
We come with expectations a lot of times. We make life is about me,me,me. It takes time though to come to the realization that life is not about me,but its about the Father, the Son,and the Holy Spirit. Life will be amazing, right now at this point of my life, and after five years of worshiping and a member of Christ body,I often am overwhelm and fascinate beyond every brain cell in my mind. God is Love.
